Dear Principal,
Thank you for selecting a candidate enrolled
in Intern Teacher Alternative Certification Program (www.itacp.com).
With the support and cooperation of faculty
and staff in the IT/ACP program and area principals like you, IT/ACP has
become a role model for the state in alternative certification of teachers
using the latest in technology and best practices. Therefore, our
candidates should prove exceptionally well in their individual schools and
districts.
The purpose of being prepared with
handbooks, standards, comprehensive training, and most importantly,
support, is to ensure that each internship year is a positive and
successful one for all involved: the intern teacher, the assigned mentor
teacher and you, the building administrator. Please read our information
located in the documents section and feel free to contact as you need!
You may address any comments and/or
questions about the program to the Alternative Certification staff who will
visit your campus on a regular basis throughout the school year. You may
also contact the Intern Teacher Alternative Certification Program office at
Carmen Cuprill-Young (youngc@itacp.com),
the executive directors for any concerns or clarifications.
Again, thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Carmen Cuprill-Young M.
